A private feed for your team's updates and announcements
Chat is great for quick questions, but weekly updates, decisions and wins get lost in it. Give your team an invite-only network where the important posts stay readable — and everyone has a profile with their role and skills.
Free · No ads in your feed · Public, private or hidden
Q3 plan is final. Three priorities, owners and dates are in the post below — comments welcome until Wednesday.
Decisions you can find again
Post the plan, the decision or the new process as a proper post and pin it. Comments stay attached to it, unlike a chat thread that scrolls away.
Profiles that show who does what
Every member has a duno profile with their headline, experience and skills, so new joiners can see who to ask.
Polls for quick input
Pick the offsite date or the name of the new feature with a poll instead of a 40-message thread.
Invite only, with expiring links
Create links that work a set number of times or expire after a day, a week or a month, and revoke them whenever you want.
Leads as admins
Give team leads admin or moderator roles so they can add people and approve posts. Remove people when they leave the team.
Recommended setup
Private keeps posts visible only to the team, and invite-only means nobody can request to join from outside — you add people by link or by username.
Every setting can be changed later in your network's settings.
- Who can see posts
- Private
- How people join
- Invite only
- Who can post
- All members
How it works
- Create your networkPick a name and an address such as duno.com/net/northwind-product. Choose whether it is public, private or hidden, and add a logo, cover and colour.
- Set the rulesDecide how people join (request, open or invite only) and who can post. Add rules, a welcome message and a question for people who ask to join.
- Invite peopleShare an invite link in the chat or email list you already use, or invite people by their duno username. Make trusted members moderators.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a replacement for Slack or Teams?
Not for real-time work chat or integrations. A duno network works best as the calm layer next to chat: announcements, weekly updates, wins and decisions that people need to find again.
Is it suitable for confidential company information?
Use a private or hidden network for internal updates, but follow your company's security policy. duno is a social network, not an enterprise tool with compliance features, so don't post anything your policy says must stay in company systems.
Can we also hire through duno?
Yes. Companies can create a company page and post jobs for free on duno's jobs board, and members can apply with their profile.
What happens when someone leaves the team?
An admin removes them from the network. They lose access to the posts immediately, and their own duno account stays theirs.
Is it free?
Yes. Creating a network, inviting people, posting and moderating are free on duno. There are no paid plans for networks and no ads in your feed.
Do members need a duno account?
Yes. Everyone joins with a free duno account, which takes about a minute to create. People must be at least 13. Each member decides whether their own profile is public or visible to logged-in members only.
Ready when you are
It takes about two minutes to set up a network. You can keep it hidden until it's ready, then invite people.
