Start a fan community people can actually find

Tour thread: post the city you're going to and find fans to meet before the show.

Example

A public address fans can share

Your community lives at duno.com/net/your-name. Public networks can show up in search engines, so new fans find you.

One-tap joining

With the open join setting anyone with a duno account joins instantly. Switch to approval-only at any time.

Moderators and rules

Write your rules once, appoint moderators, and remove or ban people who spoil it for everyone. Banning can also hide their posts.

Threads that stay readable

Each post keeps its own comments, so the theory about the finale and the ticket swap don't get mixed up.

Recommended setup

Public and open makes it easy for fans to discover the community and join instantly. If spam becomes a problem, switch to "request to join" with one click.

Every setting can be changed later in your network's settings.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need permission to start a fan community?

A fan community run by fans is fine, but make it clear it's unofficial — don't use the artist's or team's logo as your own or suggest you represent them.

Can the community be official?

Yes, if you are the artist, club or creator, or their team. Then say so in your tagline and About page.

How do we stop spam?

Switch to "request to join", add a question for new members, or require post approval. Moderators can remove posts and ban members.

Can fans message each other?

Yes. Members can send direct messages on duno, and each person controls who is allowed to message them.

Is it free?

Yes. Creating a network, inviting people, posting and moderating are free on duno. There are no paid plans for networks and no ads in your feed.

Do members need a duno account?

Yes. Everyone joins with a free duno account, which takes about a minute to create. People must be at least 13. Each member decides whether their own profile is public or visible to logged-in members only.

Ready when you are

It takes about two minutes to set up a network. You can keep it hidden until it's ready, then invite people.
