A private social network just for your family
Share photos, news and plans with the relatives who matter, in a space nobody else can find. Grandparents get one link, everyone sees the same updates, and nothing ends up in a public feed.
Free · No ads in your feed · Public, private or hidden
Grandma's 80th: Saturday 3 August at the lake house. Vote below on lunch or dinner!
Photos everyone can see
Post the baby photos, the holiday pictures and the old family album scans in one feed, with comments and reactions — not spread across five chats.
Hidden from everyone else
A hidden network doesn't show up in duno's directory or in search engines. Only people you invite can find it.
Plan get-togethers with polls
Which weekend works for the reunion? Lunch or dinner? Put it to a vote instead of chasing replies.
An easy link for less techy relatives
Send one invite link by email or text. Relatives who join through it go straight in, without waiting for approval.
Hand over the keys
Make a sibling or cousin an admin so the network keeps going if you're busy — or transfer ownership completely.
Recommended setup
Hidden networks aren't listed anywhere on duno and can't be found in search — only relatives with your invite can get in. Everyone can post, because it's family.

How it works

- Set the rulesDecide how people join (request, open or invite only) and who can post. Add rules, a welcome message and a question for people who ask to join.
- Invite peopleShare an invite link in the chat or email list you already use, or invite people by their duno username. Make trusted members moderators.
Frequently asked questions
Can people outside the family see our photos?
No. In a hidden network only members can see posts and the member list, and the network isn't listed or searchable. Photos posted inside it don't appear in public feeds.
Can children join?
Members must be 13 or older to have a duno account. Younger children can be part of the family news through their parents' posts.
How do grandparents join?
Send them an invite link. They create a free account with an email address and land straight in the family network. You can make the link single-use or let it expire after a few days.
Can we have separate spaces for different sides of the family?
Yes. Each person can run up to five networks, so you can have one for everyone and smaller ones for siblings or cousins.
Is it free?
Yes. Creating a network, inviting people, posting and moderating are free on duno. There are no paid plans for networks and no ads in your feed.
Do members need a duno account?
Yes. Everyone joins with a free duno account, which takes about a minute to create. People must be at least 13. Each member decides whether their own profile is public or visible to logged-in members only.
Ready when you are
It takes about two minutes to set up a network. You can keep it hidden until it's ready, then invite people.
