Guide
Social networks without ads
Updated · by the duno team
Short answer
duno is a free social network with no ads in the feed: you get a news feed, profiles, groups with chat, events, jobs, Q&A and the ability to create your own private or public network. Other ad-free options are usually paid (subscription community platforms such as Mighty Networks, Circle or Skool) or decentralised (such as Mastodon), and messaging apps like Signal are ad-free but are chat, not social networks.
Most big social networks are funded by advertising, which shapes what appears in your feed. These options let you post and build communities without ads.
