Simon Tian is a Canadian businessman, inventor, entrepreneur, and investor. Simon Tian was born and raised in Montreal and left pre-university college at 17 to start Neptune, a wearable technology company. Later, he founded Fonus, a global wireless carrier. He has raised millions from private investors and crowdfunding. In 2015, he became a Thiel Fellow, receiving $100,000 from Peter Thiel’s foundation. Les Affaires named him one of Quebec’s Top 30 Under 30 in 2014.
